THE S-A1 COMPACT - .40 S&W
The Steyr S-A1 striker-fired pistol is a sub-compact, semi-automatic, double-action handgun chambered in 40 S&W. The smallest of Steyr’s pistol line, the S-A1 has a 3.6” barrel and the same overall length as the C-A1 but features a short grip for ultra-concealment. As with each model in the Steyr A1 line of products, the pistol features a low bore-axis which minimizes recoil and improves control while the ergonomic grip offers optimal control for a variety of hand sizes. The lower frame of the gun offers a standard slide-lock thumb tab, right-handed magazine ejection button and pivoting break-down lever. A key-operated manual safety feature is located next to the break-down lever and 2 keys are provided with each pistol. An integrated Picatinny rail allows for simple mounting of a laser or light and slide-racking grooves on the back of the slide allow for a firm grip when manually operating the action.
The S40-A1 has a size and weight profile in line with other popular defensive-carry pistols. However, the S40-A1’s sleek lines, generous triggerguard and ergonomic grip configuration make it stand out from the crowd.
THE M-A1 - 9MM & 40 S&W
The M9-A1 is the mid-sized Steyr pistol, making it perfect for concealed carry, home defense and target shooting. Featuring a low bore axis, this pistol minimizes recoil and improves control. The lower frame of the gun offers a standard slide release, right-handed magazine drop button and pivoting break-down lever. A key-operated manual safety is located next to the takedown lever. This gun also features three loaded chamber indicators. An integrated picatinny rail allows for easy mounting of lights and lasers. Sights are Steyr's trapezoidal setup for quick and easy sight picture acquisition. The barrel features traditional rifling that allows for shooting unjacketed lead bullets.
THE C-A1 - 9MM
The C-A1 is somewhat of a hybrid, combining the compact length of the Steyr S-A1 pistol with the full-size grip of the Steyr M-A1 pistol. The barrel of the C-A1 is 3.6” long and provides a platform that is ideal for self-defense carry by offering a short overall weapon length while ensuring optimal grip control. An integrated Picatinny rail allows for simple mounting of a laser or light and slide-racking grooves on the back of the slide allow for a firm grip when manually operating the action.
